Bir to barabhangal (via thamser Paas )

Day 01 Bir to Rajgundha(2600 mtrs)
Headed to Billing by cab.Trek start from Billing, 5 hours long walk. The trek is of moderate ascent. It is known as one of the best place for paragliding. It gives most scenic panorama of the dhauladhar ranges.

Day 02 Rajgundha to panhartu(3700mtrs)
Trek further up and deep into the valley, towards the base of pass. All through the trek, Dhauladhar mountains will keep you spellbound with their mighty presence.Trek is moderate ascent.

Day 03 Panhatru via Thamsar Pass(4700mtrs) to Mahri(3900mtrs)
Today is a demanding trek, so we start early in the morning around 5 a.m. and start height gain towards the pass. Subject to weather conditions and your fitness. This trek is weary and it involves climbing. A beautiful small glacial lake can be seen on this trek.The pass is surrounded by snow and pass also shares two different valley(Uhl valley&Ravi
valley).

Bir to Thamsar Pass

Thamsar Pass at 4700 mtr altitude is one of the highest passes in Dhauladhar Range. It links Chhota Bhangal region with Bara Bhangal region. With no road access and surrounded by mighty peaks and passes, Bara Bhangal is one of the remotest inhabited area of Himachal. Usually the pass remains closed from October to April. In this trek we proceed upto Panhartu, which is the base camp of Thamsar on Chhota Bhangal side. As this trek is limited to 6 days, we don’t cross over to other side (neither is a crossing attempt recommended after October) and instead climb up towards the pass, as far as weather conditions and your stamina allow, and return to base camp. For beginners, this can be a good height gain exercise at moderately high altitude! A major part of the trek lies along Uhl valley. It’s a beautiful and relatively unexplored region in the lap of Dhauladhar range.

Day 04 Panhartu – Rajgundha
Trek to Rajgundha village. The area is famous for its Potatoes and Rajmah
You will see lovely terraced fields all around, a testimony of hard working mountain People.

Day 05 Rajgundha – Billing
Today’s trek is long but easy with gradual gradient through mixed pine, oak and Rhododendron forests. Billing is a world famous site for paragliding,so one has the option if taking a tandem paragliding flight (not included in package cost )till the landing site bir, or headed to bir by cab.

Bir –bara bhangal-Manali (via thamser Paas, kahilin Paas )

Summary : 12 Days advance level trek covering kangra,chamba and kullu valley to Manali over Thamsar Pass.

Day 04 Mahri to Bara Bhangal village(2500mtrs)
It is downhill trek to bara bhangal which is situated above the attraction for trekkers,mountaineers,nature lovers and anthropologist who thrive to feel and experience the lives of local tribes who live there in complete isolation untouched from the outer world in their own traditional ways.

Day 06 Bara bhangal to Sukha Parav (2990 mtrs)
This trek passes through forests. Streams and meandering hills involving many ups and down.This is a scenic with panorama of peaks all around

Day 07 Sukha parav to LamaRarav(3150mtrs)
This is an easy gradual trek with moderate ascents.

Day 08 Lama rarav to Gwari(3780mtrs)
The trek which rises steepy ardousclimb up to the camping ground. Gwari is situated at the foot of kalihin pass when the river originates and joins the Ravi river near bara bhangal.

Day 09 Gwari to Sanghor(3600mtrs)over Kalihin Pass
This is very tiring trek . The climb becomes becomes stiff before the pass but then rewardedadequately for ones efforts by fascinating view of the mountains of greater Himalyas as seen from the pass.one needs balance and self control while descending.

Day 10Sanghor to Sangchur (2880mtrs)
This is comparatively easy trail can be covered in 2-3 hrs. The trek descends through many villages of kullu valley.

Bir –kullu (via sari Paas)

Day 01 Bir to Kothi Kohar
Headed to Billing by cab.Trek start from Billing,7 hours long walk. The trek is of moderate ascent. It is known as one of the best place for paragliding(Billing). It gives most scenic panorama of the dhauladhar ranges.it is the down the hill walk amidst thick forest mixed variety. Kothi Kohar ia small village in chhota bhangal Valley.the occupation of the people is farming in small terraced fields.

Day 02 Kothi Kohar to Barot
An easy downward walking trail follows amidst forest crossing ruhlling river at one or two laces.

Day 03: Barot to Lohardi-1990 mts, 2-3 hrs. trek.
Barot is a small village located on both sides of lamdug river. The scenic grander of lohardi to some extent resembles to that of Manali. On both sides are high hills with thick forest , below in the valley are orchards. This area presents a very rugged beauty and has un-explored treks unvisited. It is a trekker’s paradise and one finds oneself completely lost in admiring the natural beauty all around.

Day 04: Lohardi to Lahesh -3200 mts, 6-7 hrs.
This trek is visited by shepherds and trekkers frequently to cross Sari Pass. It is a well-defined trek which follow through forested ridges along the Lohardi nallah.

Day 05: Lahesh to Teun village -2700 mts, hrs.
It is hardest day of the trek as the climbs steep to croos Sari pass (3760mts). Sri pass is not very high and has green meadows on top it shepherds with their flocks of sheep and goats stay for a long time during the summer. Teun is a very primitive village of Rajput families.

Day 06: Teun to Naghol -2700mts, 4-5 hrs. trek
The trek passes through many small villages all along the Sari nallah.

Day 07: Naghol to Kullu, 3-4 hrs trek.
An easy trail decends along the Sari nallah. The beauty of valley is incomparable. The Sari nallah meanders between the valley and finally mingles with Beas river at Kullu.

Package cost : Per Person/Per day.
Inclusive of : Accomadation during the trekking , all meals all guides, porters, cook. And camiping equipment.
